26th May - In line with the most recent guidance from Public Health England, the NHS and Government, Kyocera UK is starting to ramp up its support as we see the activity levels of our customers and partners increase. It is evident that we will all need to navigate our way back to a new “way of working” carefully. As the underlying reason for the lockdown remains, returning to the workplace must be done with extreme care, whilst balancing this with the need to meet our customer requirements. Supporting Healthcare, Emergency Services and customers in other “key services” remains our priority but, it’s also very pleasing and encouraging to see customers and vendors in other sectors starting to plan their return. With lockdown, hopefully, continuing to ease, we trust this trend will continue over the coming weeks.
Although our own offices remain closed at this time (the exception being our Dunstable Warehouse and Distribution Centre), with our teams across the country all working very effectively from home, we are currently undertaking risk assessments for all our sites to determine the best way to return safely over the coming weeks and months. We are also engaging with customers and partners to understand your own ‘back to work’ strategies. I am thankful that we are now experiencing an increased demand for support from our engineering workforce. Currently, our strategy is to work closely with both customers and partners to understand your own back to work policies and timescales. Where you can share this with us, combined with your own risk assessments, we will look to support you wherever possible, matching our resources to meet your own return to work strategies. With this in mind, where you require such sales or service support from us, we request that you share your strategies with our account teams so that we can plan our resources to ensure we are fully able to support your business.
Whilst writing, I wanted to highlight that one of the areas in which we are supporting an increasing number of customers and partners is in designing and implementing their Agile and Remote Working capabilities.
