KYOCERA Document Solutions wins Awards in Reading Cycle Challenge
Recognition of team effort
KYOCERA Document Solutions was awarded first prize in the Reading Cycle Challenge category for Teams of 7 – 19 for encouraging 71.4% of the Marketing Team to cycle 150 miles, completing 33 trips and saving 25kg of CO2.
The company was also recognised with the award for 2nd place in the larger category (50 – 199) for encouraging 51.7% of staff its staff to cycle 371 miles, completing 89 trips and saving 42kg of CO2.
Rob Attryde, Marketing Communications Manager, KYOCERA Document Solutions said: “As an avid cyclist I’m delighted that so many of our colleagues, whether novices or more experienced cyclists, participated in this initiative. The Marketing Team is looking forward to its prize of a team day out at Newbury Races.”
Both awards were received by Phil Duley, Problem Manager, KYOCERA Document Solutions at the ceremony in central Reading earlier this week. The Reading Cycle Challenge 2012 is supported by Reading Borough Council, Summer of Cycling, CTC Working for Cycling and Challenge for Change.
