Reading, UK – 7 January 2020: Kyocera Document Solutions UK, has today announced the launch of three new products within its respected TASKalfa range: the TASKalfa 358ci, TASKalfa 408ci and TASKalfa 508ci. This follows the launch of the TASKalfa 352ci devices in December, as the organisation continues to provide companies with innovative new tools for enhanced productivity.
The TASKalfa 358ci and TASKalfa 408ci represent an upgrade on the TASKalfa 356ci and TASKalfa 406ci models. The TASKalfa 508ci is an ideal solution for the higher printing segment, offering speeds of up to 50 prints per minute.
These latest MFPs do far more than just print, as they also include state of the art scanning technology. A brand-new document processor means that up to 170 images can be scanned per minute, with a staple detection and double-feed detection units, making life much easier when scanning stacks of paperwork and documentation.
“These devices represent Kyocera’s latest innovations, proving how its TASKalfa range continues to remain a step ahead of the competition in the A4 MFP market,” explained Michele Mabilia, Head of Product Marketing at Kyocera Document Solutions UK.
“Medium to large-sized organisations require solutions which can handle all their printing and scanning needs, whilst also providing top-class security to protect their data. Our product development team has worked hard to ensure these devices provide all of the benefits of A3 devices but for A4 needs,” Michele added.
Security is a top priority for any organisation, particularly public sector bodies and businesses in the finance and legal professions. Secure Boot technology ensures that only authorised firmware is deployed whilst the Trusted Platform Module guarantees encryption for image data and certificates, so scanning is not just efficient, but safe.
Even when IT experts or print fleet managers are not in the office, usability is enhanced. Remote panel support enables firms to have troubleshooting checks and routine processes carried out externally, thanks to the implementation of KYOCERA Fleet Services. This means that organisations do not have to worry about visits from technicians allowing for almost instant checks to resolve basic problems and avoid unnecessary delays.
The devices have also been designed with a focus on creating a user-friendly experience, with a new user interface that emulates tablet functionality. This allows professionals to manage their print jobs using simple drag and drop technology.
As the company’s philosophy, established by founder Dr. Kazuo Inamori, suggests, these products enable firms to project their abilities into the future. Following the belief that “it is only by challenging what we are not now capable of achieving that we can attain a higher goal,” these TASKalfa products enable companies to boost efficiency with unrivalled print and scan capabilities.
