About “Windows Protected Print Mode (WPP)”

Windows11, version 24H2, released by Microsoft, includes “Windows Protected Print Mode” as a new feature in “Printers and Scanner”.
The default value of this feature is disabled, but when this feature is enabled, we can confirm the below phenomenon:
【Phenomenon】
Non-Microsoft installed printer drivers and fax drivers are automatically deleted and printing is not possible.
Additionally, printing from applications that use Kyocera’s drivers is not possible as well. Printer drivers and fax drivers cannot be newly installed.
Restoring the WPP setting does not recover the removed drivers.
【Recovery】
To use Kyocera’s printer drivers again, disable the WPP setting and reinstall the drivers.
