5th January 2021 – Kyocera’s number one priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners, their families and the communities that we operate in. Accordingly, we adhere to the most recent safety guidance from Public Health England (PHE), the NHS and Government.
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 4th January, we have taken the decision to close all our offices across the Group with our teams throughout the country working very effectively from home. Our Dunstable Warehouse and Distribution Centre remains open and fully functional, maintaining full social distancing and safe-working measures at all times.
Supporting Healthcare, Emergency Services and customers in other ‘key services’ will be our focus during this current period, however, we will aim to align our support to the activity levels of all our customers and partners and it is evident that we will all need to navigate our way back to a new ‘way of working’ carefully. We work with extreme care, striving to meet customer requirements and delivering the high levels of service that they expect and deserve.
We are collaborating closely with both customers and partners in accordance with their own back-to-work policies and would ask that you share these with us, in addition to your risk assessments, so that we can support, wherever possible. Where you require sales or service support from us, we request that you share your plans with our account teams so that we can align our resources to ensure we are fully able to support your organisation.
Kyocera continues to provide service and support across the UK, as national and local governments permit. We also recognise that our customers put their trust in us when we visit, service or deliver equipment to their workplace and would like to assure you that we follow strict guidelines from PHE and the Government in addition to our own Health & Safety Committee and Business Continuity Planning teams, who meet on a regular basis.
One of the areas in which we are supporting an increasing number of customers and partners is in designing and implementing their Agile and Remote Working capabilities. Should you or any of your customers require any assistance in this regard, or in fact any IT, Paper Lite (Content Services) or Unified Communications strategy, please do not hesitate to let us know, as our expert and experienced teams are on hand to assist you.
Our account managers continue to work closely with you. Please do let them know if we can do anything else to help you navigate through these challenging times. As this situation evolves, we will continue to update this page with any additional changes. Please also check our Twitter (@KYOCERADUK) and LinkedIn (KYOCERA Document Solutions UK) accounts for the latest information.
Thank you and please stay healthy and safe.
