Kyocera strengthens its cloud security with renewed ISMS Certifications
After being accredited with the “ISMS Cloud Security Certification” in 2017,Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. (President: Hironori Ando) extended the scope of accreditation to all the Software R&D Divisions, a subgroup of the Corporate R&D Division, to be accredited with Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This process began in 2021 and aimed to enhance the organisation’s information and cloud security.
Kyocera underwent the renewal inspection in September 2023, which will be the third year since the company was previously accredited with the certification. We are proud to announce that the renewal process for these certificates has been completed.
“Data security is top of mind for today’s professionals,” says Takuya Marubayashi, President of Kyocera Document Solutions Europe, B.V.
“By renewing these certificates, Kyocera has once again proved that security is our signature feature and an element we prioritise in our pursuit of innovation.”
With today’s growing number of targeted and ransomware attacks, Kyocera is fully committed to building up its ISMS to ensure thorough information and cloud security through appropriate risk assessment against threats.
Kyocera will continue to strive for even better quality document solutions services through these ISMS certificates as a comprehensive effort to secure its customers’ data and information assets and to contribute to expansion of its customers’ business.
